The Retreat in detail
#1 MEDITATION
Enjoy three morning meditation sessions that will help you feel grounded and clear – A 30 minute seated morning practice in the Yurt or the the studio, or you to start the day in a focused and calm state. These will be perfect for beginners and experienced meditators alike.
Meditation is a powerful form of relaxation to help reduce stress and anxiety. According to neuroscientists your brain reshapes itself as you continue to meditate, even though you’re not aware of it. Mindfulness meditation activates the “rest and digest” part of our nervous system which helps with stress management. This is a powerful practice for both beginners and those more experienced, leaving you with clarity and peace of mind for the day ahead.
#2: YOGA
Dive into six in-depth Yoga sessions with Lara & Debs, exploring various types of Yoga, to encourage a sense of restoration and renewal of energy levels. Both teachers are experienced, knowledgeable and passionate Yoga Teachers with a detailed knowledge of stress-management, nutrition, anatomy & yoga philosophy.
By the end of the weekend you will have learnt how to listen to your body and what it needs to restore the balance to feeling rejuvenated and vibrant. Throughout the weekend they will use the power of Do-Terra organic essential oils to aid the body to relax and renew.

#3: Delicious & Healthy Food
The food!
I cannot speak highly enough of the food you will enjoy during your time at 42 Acres.
Locally sourced and prepared mindfully with attention to a balance of nutrients, each meal you will enjoy here is a feast for the eyes and a loving, hug for the body.
Simply watching the chefs prepare each meal artfully is a pleasure in itself.
All dietary requirements are catered for; please make your needs known to Deb or Lara on your Personal Details form which will be emailed to you before the retreat.
#4: EVENING FIRE PIT RITUALS
Spend time as a collective group around the fire pit, dissolving old patterns, habits, emotions - anything that is holding you down or creating stagnation in your life. Learn how to create a sense of purpose and positivity through clearing out the old.
#5: NUTRITION & STRESS WORKSHOPS
Are you ready to reach your optimal health? In these workshop Debs & Lara will gently guide you through how to feel in optimal health, discover new ways to boost your diet and how to minimise your stress response to daily life. If you are feeling “tired and wired” - then these workshops are for you.
#6: GOODYBAG
Personally created by your teachers, this bag contains all the things to help you get the most from the retreat and to take home with you, to remind yourself to continue your self-care practice for the future. Think natural products, journals, essential oils...and more!
